Hey there everybody, how are you doing? Welcome back to a new day of my 30-day personal development challenge/case study. Before starting Day 14, you may have a look at my Day 13 activities and findings (if any). Today, it is time for my weekly reflection on how the challenge has come along thus far.
The Advantage of Having a Deadline…
…is that it provides motivation to do the things we’ve always planned on doing but never do. By setting this challenge for myself and reminding myself of it first thing in the morning, I’ve been meditating every day. Of course, when I do something with the mindset to achieve a goal, it kind of takes the fun out of it and maybe adds a little bit of stress. So I just constantly reminded myself that the goal is to feel good, because when one feels good stress couldn’t very well exist at the same time.
Has any of my ‘physical’ goals set on Day 0: Setting Goals been achieved? Well, you know that the F1 one has been realized. I set an extra F1 goal as you know on Day 7: Taking Stock (and What is the Power of Intention?). It didn’t pan out exactly as I had hoped for but it was close enough :).
I also received some money the other day, from my government. Just a couple of hundred bucks subsidizing the use of electricity. Is it considered my goal realized? Well, there is time left for a larger sum of money to fall into my lap, so let’s see if any more money shows up. I’ll be doing more of the money ‘meditation’ that I did back on Day 4: A Manifest Money ‘Meditation’.
How’s my back? I have been doing the health visualization before I go to sleep (see Day 8: ‘Meditation’ for Health Benefits). It seems to have loosened up a bit, but then now I feel a bit of ache elsewhere, here and there, now and then. I like to think that this is all part of the healing process. The stiffness dissolving and causing aches in other places! Let’s continue and see what happens.
Reading Book, and Other Things
I have also been putting aside time to read A New Earth: Awakening to your Life’s purpose. I’m more than halfway through. I feel good when reading it, and since my ultimate aim with this challenge is to raise my vibration/good feelings, that’s all good. That’s usually the effect also when I listen to Abraham Hicks videos (see Day 6: Listening to Abraham Hicks videos) and when I listen to Jean’s course again (see Day 9: Reading A New Earth: Awakening to your Life’s purpose #2).
Actually, I’ve also been feeling great in the last few days even when I’m not meditating, not reading the book, not doing anything related to personal development. My vibration throughout the days was pretty good I think. And that’s great; I mean, I don’t want to feel good only when I’m doing something related to personal development. I want to be able to feel good at all times.
See You Next Time, Folks!
That’s it today. Stay tuned for the next one, which should be out in a couple of days’ time. Just drop your questions and comments below, and I shall get back to you as soon as possible. Till the next time, thanks a lot!
