Another Self-help Journey Part 7: How to raise your vibration instantly

Clark here, everybody. Welcome back to another installment of this series. Today I want to share with you what I have discovered about how to raise your vibration instantly. In previous chapters, I did say that I have been down quite a bit in recent times. And in those times, I find it a drag to get myself feeling good once more.

Let Bygones be Bygones

There is this analogy I heard, in which if you are following your GPS but somehow you find yourself driving in a different direction to where you intend to go, you don’t have to go back to your starting point and prove that you have followed the GPS correctly and it is the GPS that is wrong. Just go from where you are to where you want to be.

Thing is, people don’t let go of the past easily. Their minds will keep going back to a particular event, bemoaning their bad luck, assigning blame, scolding themselves, etc. And in the end we find ourselves standing in the same position that we were in before we started that entire train of thought, feeling no better or even worse.

To be able to let bygones be bygones, understanding that harping on the past doesn’t serve us is key. What we really want is to feel good, and the way to do that is by always be on a journey towards bigger and better things. When you know that, you may just be willing to let go of the past whenever it crops up annoyingly in your mind.

It May Not Be Possible To Raise Your Vibration Instantly

This might not be something you want to hear. If you’ve been in a bad mood for the entire morning, you may have to accept that there is going to be a period of time in which you have to ‘do the work’ to reverse the momentum. And that could be meditating, or thinking one positive thought after another. And you have to allow some time for the negative train of thoughts to subside.

Of course, it works both ways. So instead of trapping yourself in a negative train of thoughts, why not deliberately break the cycle? Start by thinking one appreciative or good thought about something or someone, perhaps yourself? If you start to feel better, that is an indication that what you’re doing is working. Or stop all thoughts for a while if the negativity is overwhelming.

But do it. Because there is no downside to this, is there? You’ll feel better in no time at all, and then you’ll see one good thing after another happening in your life. You’ll start to have more enjoyable experiences, receive more abundance and feel healthier. And you’ll begin to realize the power you hold to effect any change you want to see happen.

What’s Next?

I am not sure myself. I feel like there is much more to be let off my chest. I hope you’re experiencing a raising of vibration these days. I know I am. Please engage with me below if you have any questions or comments. Till the next one, thanks a lot!
