How to Lose Weight Naturally and Quickly

Good morning everyone, today I want to share with you a few tips on how to lose weight naturally and quickly. By naturally I mean losing weight through healthy eating, exercising or changing your beliefs, WITHOUT pills or surgery. Those are potentially dangerous things that can backfire and cause serious, maybe even life-threatening, health problems and in my opinion you should avoid them at all cost.

First of All, Should You Be Losing Weight?

If you’re ALREADY at your ideal body weight, then I suggest that you do not go on trying to lose more weight. Nowadays there are so much emphasis on looking thin, for girls especially. Honestly though, I think this is a serious DISEASE that is making its rounds on the planet. I mean, who do you think is more attractive?

But on the positive side, curves are starting to be back in fashion:). 

Some health professionals believe that Body Mass Index (BMI) is the best measure of your ideal body weight. Your BMI is your weight in relation to your height – your weight in kilograms divided by the square of your height in meters, or your weight in pounds times 703 divided by the square of your height in inches.

Most health authorities around the world agree that a BMI of 18.5 to 25 is ideal. People with a BMI less than that are considered underweight. Somebody with a BMI between 25 and 30 is classed as overweight, while someone with a BMI of over 30 is obese.

It is said that your ideal body weight could also be measured by your Waist-Hip Ratio, Waist-Height Ratio and Body Fat Percentage. To learn more about them, go to Some health professionals say that BMI is faulty as it does not account for muscle mass and that waist-hip ratio is better.

If You Insist Though (On Losing Weight), Here Are Some Pointers


Cinnamon tea, green tea with ginger, low-fat yogurt, apples, asparagus, dark CHOCOLATE. These are just some of the foods that are said to aid weight loss. Other recommendations include staying hydrated, exercising and getting enough sleep.

Changing Your Inner Beliefs

Special diets, exercise routines, weight loss pills, risky surgery. They are all based on the belief that weight loss is something that has to be accomplished from the OUTSIDE. But the thing is, weight loss ultimately begins in the mind.

  1. Thank you for sharing ways to lose weight without using pills or the so-called diet plan that I personally dislike. I agree, it has to start from you accepting the way you are first and here I mean genetically. If you are at a healthy weight then you should be happy about it. I think the best way to lose weight naturally is to eat whole foods and move more. Try to avoid snacking as much as you can. And time will tell, yes, losing weight takes time. 

    • I can tell that you’re quite knowledgeable about losing weight. I guess you must have read a lot about the subject? Eating whole foods and moving more is always good advice, even when you don’t need to lose weight. Somebody once told me that human beings are not made for being physically idle for long stretches of time.

  2. Hi Clark, I do need to lose weight and I need to lose it now and fast. A few months ago I had a pain in my left leg. I couldn’t do my aerobics and I couldn’t go for walks. I stepped on the scale this week and I could not believe my eyes at how much weight I had gained! Taking your advice, I will go for cinnamon tea. How many cups do I drink in a day?

    • Everything in moderation. Maybe one cup a day? Don’t be too eager to lose a lot of weight in a short period of time. Learn to love your body as it is, and it will reciprocate I promise.

      Besides drinking cinnamon tea, you can try out all the other suggestions as well. Practice each of them in moderation, and I am sure that you would be at your ideal weight before too long.

  3. I completely agree with the concept that change occurs from the inside out! I get my hypnosis (positive affirmation) soundtracks from Audible. Have you tried Audible? Some of the ones out there are not worth the money or helpful at all. I am curious to see if you have any favorites or recommendations.

  4. A healthy diet that promotes a normal weight, along with exercise is ALWAYS overlooked by doctors to solve most of humans’ ills because Big Pharma can’t make money off these simple solutions.

    I’m a big believer of that, and I also agree that it’s best to lose weight naturally and if you are doing it fast, make sure it’s not harmful either.

  5. Wow. I’ve heard of subliminals, especially in media advertising by big brands (although I’m not sure how true it is). But in losing weight? That’s something new for me.

    Having the music and the visuals sounds good, but how does that connect to losing weight itself? Do you just take less carb automatically?

    • It can work in many ways. Who knows, listening to the music/staring at the visuals may speed up your metabolism! After all, it’s difficult to understand why some people eat a lot but stay thin, whereas some eat very little but just couldn’t shed the pounds.

  6. I absolutely agree with what you are saying here. Some time ago I had a setback with heart problems and my Father suggested I read a book called “The Heart of a Winner”
    This book is all about having positive affirmations and repeating them daily. While I was reading the book I was feeling so good to alive, I said to my wife that I must read this book again.
    Your information here is so much more than that. I mean, how much time do we spend in front of our computer screens or just having some background music? Thank you for sharing this information.
