Reading Prosper While You Sleep book, Chapter 21: Thinking positively can change your life

Clark here everybody, and welcome back to my site and this series! Here on this page we shall look at Chapter 21 of the Prosper While You Sleep book, titled “Psychosomatic Ailments: Are They Real?” Thinking positively can change your life, and below I will talk more about the power of positive thinking. Even though thus far almost every page in this book has been trying to convince you of that I think there is always more to be said.

Of Placebos and Mind Power

In this chapter, there is talk about placebos and how our minds can make us well and of course, ill as well. When I started believing in the power of the mind and law of attraction, there was worry in me about guarding my thoughts, because now I know the stakes are high. And when I first got to thinking in a positive way, there was worry that I have thought too many negative thoughts in the past. But that is normal. Although don’t stay there for long, because just think about all the things you could have.

So stay away from thoughts that do not feel good and embrace those that do. In addition to bringing the things you want to you, feeling good feels… good. The laws of life are indeed awesome. But what I’ve learnt first-hand is to be happy with feeling happy, and not think about the fact that I’m doing this to manifest stuff. Because if I’m thinking that I usually cannot stop myself from wondering when it will come. I just feel good and I am satisfied, because that is the natural way to live: feeling good and joy.

Just like how you think positive in order to attract more wealth and happiness, so it can be used for great health as well. Just imagine that you’re playing some sport with ease and feeling good about yourself. There are countless ways in which to think positive thoughts about health or otherwise.

Actually, to be honest, I believe that if we just think positively about something, we would feel good, and that good feeling will lead to good health automatically. If stress, worry and anxiety leads to worse health, then the opposite must be true as well. See how it works? Anything good will lead to other good things. Just take the first step. I know the book title is “Prosper While You Sleep” but I would suggest that every morning you remind yourself to think positive and powerful thoughts and start your day off on a good note.
